There's sentimental meaning to it so it stays...Love stinks Have you ever wanted to tell someone that you miss them so much that it hurts, but yet know you can't do that?That's where I'm at right now.Even though we were together for years, I still can't tell him. I am a jackass in every sense of the word. A true idiot, no doubt.I woke up at 4 A.M. to use the bathroom and when I went to get up out of bed, my leg completely gave out on me. I had no control over my leg and down and I went. I hit my head on the night stand and came crasing down on my right side on my hardwood floor. I felt worse pain than ever in my back and I've already bruised.Jackass. Jackass. Jackass.I messed up my wrist, my elbow, my leg and my head and my back. The dogs were out back when we got a sudden downpour. Mud was everywhere. I walked Mickey around the front door and brought her up to the tub. What an angel she is. She didn't mind getting clean at all. It was nice and refreshing for her. I almost couldn't get her out of the tub. Here I thought my 70-lb Boxer would be a pain to bathe, but like I said, she loved it.Guido, on the other hand, what a little bastard. He's 1/2 the size of Mickey but he's all muscle. That little Shiba Inu has got some strength and does NOT like to have a bath. But there was no way I was having mud all over my house.I fought him tooth and nail to get him cleaned. It was the fastest bath I'd ever given to a pet because he fought me so much to get out of the tub. He didn't try to hurt me - he was just scared shitless.He completely soaked me, but the little shit is clean. No mud and he smells good. And Mickey smells like a flower. :)It's day and night wi... There is still a lot I want to do with my blog but it will take time. I know I've neglected my blog and those on my side bar as of late; partly because of FaceBook and partly because I just haven't had much of a desire to blog. But I'm here now so I hope that counts for something.I just hung up the phone with my mom. I'll be leaving Pennsylvania to go see her in Tennessee in a few weeks. I can't wait. She's so excited and I love to hear my mom like that. She's already making plans for what we're going to do, and if it makes her happy, it makes me happy.I told her when I come down I'm going to start checking out the real estate market. Part of me doesn't want to move because my boys don't want to move to TN, but I know I have to let go of the apron strings sometime. They'll be fine in an apartment on their own, or with their father. And they always know they'll have a place with me if they need it.Mikey's kind of "stuck" here, and I mean that in a good way. I got up early this morning (about 4:30) but I DID sleep. I'm still sleepy too and will probably lay back down to see if I can get a few more hours. Last week insomnia took over; this week it's all but gone (knocks wood!).Anywho, I went downstairs for a glass of milk and saw my son made muffins. I try to stay away from that stuff, but my sweet tooth was calling so I had one anyway - well, maybe half.I don't know how many of you animal are lovers and owers who like sharing people treats with their pets, but I do it all the time. My babies still eat their food - in fact, they're so picky it's the only cat food they'll eat, but it's dry and although it's not cheap, it's cheaper than buying cans.But I don't mind giving them a little treat every now and then.
