Mark Allen Hughes has an interesting idea: build an elevated walkway to connect the subway station and indoor/outdoor stadia at the sports complex, as well as whatever parking or retail/office complex that gets built on the former Vet site (see America’s Hometown).

I don't know -- quite a bit of money has already been sunk into the stadium area, with very little actual neighborhood around it to actually see any benefit.
A walkway seems like a waste of federal funding, especially with ideas like a Roosevelt Blvd. subway, and expansion of 76 forever floating out there in the ether. Not too mention all the money diverted away from other city improvement projects, ie- Penns Landing, to develop those stadiums.
The walk from the subway to the stadiums is well lit, freshly paved, and clean.
Should have extended the BSS.
The original Broad Street Subway ended at Snyder Ave.
It was extended to Pattison in 1973 to serve JFK, the Vet and the Spectrum.
It's disappointing that the line was not extended down Pattison to the Linc or the Citizens' Bank park as part of it's construction.
