Project H.O.M.E. Ad

A few days ago, Karl put out the call for Philly bloggers to help with "Breaking the Cycle."

One way he suggested Philly bloggers could help was to run a Blogad for next Thursday's Young Friends of Project H.O.M.E. event at the University of the Arts. But for those without Blogads accounts, you can still host the same banner you see on the right side of this page. All you have to do is place one of the following code snippets where you want the ad to appear on your site (the second one is 30 pixels narrower, in case your sidebar is narrower):

<a href="http://www.projecthome.org/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.phillyfuture.org/files/images/project-home-ad_1_0.gif" alt="Project H.O.M.E."></a>

<a href="http://www.projecthome.org/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.phillyfuture.org/files/images/project_home_ad2_0.gif" alt="Project H.O.M.E."></a>

(Thanks to Matt for the correction on the original image.)

Actually

Howard, the image you made is an uncompressed bitmap, so it's got a pretty big file size (224 KB).

I saved it as a gif, and uploaded it -- it's a smaller file size, and people (and the PF servers) would probably be better off using it:

Also, I made a smaller version of it (width -- 120 pixels) in case the other version is too big for a blog's sidebar:

Thanks Matt, The post has

Thanks Matt,

The post has been edited accordingly. I was a little tired when I posted it -- come to think of it, I still am...

Thank you, Howard

Cheers. The ad is up on iFlipFlop. I appreciate the work you put in (and, Matt, thanks for the compression...low bandwidth is our friend).

thanks guys

The ad is up at DF. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it but I should have some cash to donate in the not too distant future.
