SEPTA Strike Begins

The KYW Newsradio website reports that TWU Local 234 and UTU Local 1594 have struck SEPTA. The UTU also has the news posted on its website.

Feel free to browse Philly Future's SEPTA section to gain (or even to add your own) perspective on what this means to hundreds of thousands of us here in the Delaware Valley.

Philly.com has comprehensive coverage. Early Word has a post up where folks can offer and look for rides.

Of note is Ray Murphy's interview with Bob Bedard who does press and communications work for TWU Local 234. It would be great to see SEPTA accept an interview from YPP as well to hear both sides.
