Does Stu Bykofsky Need A Blog of His Own to Understand Blogs?

What is up with Stu Bykofsky?

In today's People Paper, know as the Daily News, in his column at the end comes this jab:

"Even more argumentative than Eskin is Philadelphia magazine's thought-provoking, ire-producing "contrarian" Noel Weyrich (who's married to my co-worker Ronnie Polaneczky, who had no hand in this praise).

In recent months Noel's blasted the Committee of Seventy for being dominated by insiders (a short time later outside board members were added), attacked urban sprawl and bloggers (he's right), squawked about early-bird Center City parking rates (he's wrong), pushed gambling for Penn's Landing (I don't know if he's right or wrong)."

What makes us curious is what does Uncle Stu have against bloggers anyway? If bloggers and citizen journalists are trying to save one of our local papers from becoming extinct, than what's up with Stu? Is he tired of airline tirades and now is focused on an up and coming medium? Does he secretly want to be a blogger too? Would saving The Daily News interfere with retirement plans?

For all you can love about Stu Bykofsky and what he writes, is this just getting a tad too tiresome?

Bah humbug, take away the cigar and give that man a lump of coal. Stu, Stu, Stu...we don't undertand you anymore....we still like you to spite yourself, you irascible curmudgeon....by the way Stu, as far as parking in the city and the outrageous fees, we did find Noel Weyrich to be correct.....as for the rest of it: start your own blog - you'll have fun...bet you could set up shop here at PhillyFuture to try it on for size...in no time at all, a man of as many varied opinions as yourself will have enough for a website in no time!

Curmudgeonly phase

I guess Stu's just getting to that point where he has too much trouble adapting to modern reality. Calling the Noel Weyrich screed against bloggers "right" betrays how out of touch he is -- which is just about as much as Noel is.

pity

maybe you're right about stu- can't teach an old dog new tricks, even if he is a fan of animal rescue...as for noel, he wouldn't have the courage to have a blog
