Blog Service Downtime: How Much Is Too Much?

Via Slashdot, the confirmation we've all been expecting (at least those of us who've tried in vain to read or maintain TypePad sites) -- that downtime troubles with TypePad are not yet a thing of the past.

The Slashdot article asks a question to which I'm curious to hear answers: "Are bloggers and blog readers willing to accept rocky performance from popular services?"

For the TypePad users out there, how do you feel about it?

i'm fed up with them in these past few months of service interruptions. i'm gonna write them for a refund and make the switch to wordpress.
