APRIL 18th: Hispanic Community Business Fair. Representatives from various city agencies, like L&I and MBAT, will speak briefly and then you'll be able to ask them everything you've always wanted to know. APRIL 19th: US Senate Debates: Pennacchio, Casey, Sandals :The debate will feature Chuck Pennacchio, Bob Casey Jr, and Alan Sandals. It is sponsored by the Floyd Institute's Center for Politics and Public Affairs at Franklin & Marshall.

APRIL 19th: Pennsylvania's Environmental Future: A Look Behind the Scenes at the Environmental Heroes and Zeroes of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Featuring State Representatives Josh Shapiro and Mike Gerber. Sponsored by (and in support of) the Pennsylvania League of Conservation Voters. 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Cost $50. APRIL 20th: Urban Sustainability Forum. Don't laugh, but the long-term goal of this forum is to make Philadelphia the greenest, most livable city in America. Topics include managing the city's water, revisioning waste management, and the future of land use and redevelopment of healthy neighborhoods. APRIL 20th: Homeless Advocacy Project Benefit. Spring seems to be the season for charity benefits, but in case you're looking to booze and schmooze some more, your friends at PECO have teamed up with the Verizon Foundation and Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. to raise big bucks for the Homeless Advocacy Project.
