Tonight at The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing will be one of the showcase events of the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, a showing of Cry-Baby by that crazy director, John Waters.
The screening starts at 9.15p [right about when it gets dark enough to show a projection at night these days], but there's a Drag King/Johnny Depp look-a-like contest at 8.45p beforehand. Admission is free and it's sure to be a hell of a time.
I'll most likely be heading over there tonight, but my buzzcut will prevent me from rocking a greaser 'do, but I'm sure others there will more than make up. Hopefully, the weather will hold up.
