His parents, Leo and Kelly Mirolli are Philadlephia Eagles fans. A group called Fans Helping Fans (of the Philadelphia Eagles) what to help the family.
Luke can't go home unless significant work is done on the family's house, "In order for their son Luke to come home from the hospital, they need rewiring done on their house to accommodate the medical equipment necessary to treat the little boy, " Thom Rouse.
Rouse is chairman of Fans Helping Fans. The check the family will receive Friday is to cover the improvements necessary for their home.
In the past year Fans Helping Fans have been fundraising in a variety of ways across the country, from tailgaters at the Linc, to a 5K Fun Run in West Chester on Super Bowl Sunday, and even to game-day parties as far-flung as Portland, OR."
Fans Helping Fans inspires me.

Thanks for the free publicity
On behalf of Fans Helping Fans, thanks tons for publicizing our latest grant, which hasn't even actually been given yet. Hey, if you'd like to come to the presentation, Karl, keep in touch with me. Perhaps you can blog about the event. Little Luke is so cute I'm sure I'll be crying nonstop at the event Friday.
Nah, nah, nah - thank you
We need more people involved in groups like Fans Helping Fans.
I won't be able to make it (work, work, work) but maybe you can extend that invitation to Matt and Scott :) They rock. Philly Future wouldn't be what it is right now without our growing team.
