This week's featured blog is...

I couldn't do it. I couldn't figure it out. There were two writers who I *had* to choose this week, but couldn't pick one from either. So I'm going to pick both. There will be two featured blogs this week.

The theme is running against the grain and breaking out of the pre-conceived molds we let ourselves get into.

Will Bunch at Attytood deserves a bookmark from you. Now. Most especially if you work at a newspaper. Why a newspaper? Because he's one of the few journalists I know who have embraced the blogging form: personal, opinionated, daily: He dares to confront the powers that be even at rival papers owned by the same corporation. I hope others are taking notice.

The second featured blog this week is ALa at blonde sagacity. A 'South Park Conservative', her posts these past few weeks are in huge contrast to other so called 'conservatives'. Whether confronting some hypocrites who fired that Playgirl editor for being a Republican or getting hate mail by 'conservatives' over Terri Schiavo, or having a good discussion with me on public assistance (we're closer in opinion than apart - we just use different language) - she's deserves to be on your blogroll. I may disagree with her on many, many things, but ya know what? We can talk. That's a rare, rare, thing in this day and age where too damn many are eager to keep us seperate and not communicating.

Update: blonde sagacity is on vacation. So I guess that solves our 'two featured blog' problem till next week.
