As the 48-year-old rock star let rip, the silhouette cast by his figure and his guitar (shaped like the singer's symbol) had phallic connotations for some.
As referenced by the pole poll on the above linked article, somewhere around 17% of our fellow citizens are what I like to refer to as batshit insane. Just like Paunxsataney (sp?) Phil, apparently bad things can happen when we see our shadows. I thought John Ashcroft and the covered Boobies of Justice were gone? Next think you know they be putting a "black bar" on the Washington Monument and a burka on the Statue of Liberty!?!
