Nutter wins nomination
Michael Nutter has won the Democratic nomination for mayor, defeating his nearest rival, Tom Knox, by a comfortable margin. With nearly two-thirds of the vote counted, the former City Councilman held a 7 percentage point lead over Knox. The other candidates: Bob Brady, Chaka Fattah and Dwight Evans trailed the two top.
