Would you consider living on the West Coast...even for a short while?

West Coast vs Philly
Well my wife and I live in SF and my wife's family is from Wallingford so this subject comes up quite a bit during our holiday visits. Have to admit that I'm a West Coast addict (moved from Boston in 90) but one thing I know for sure. You will spend a lot more money to live here. Is it worth it? Don't know.
Shameless plug for my company's website below, but it's a relevant, free & useful one as it relates to this debate.
Check out Roost.com and see how much house you can buy for $500k in Wallingford, PA vs a similar town like Burlingame, CA out here. Both are close to airports and downtown.
Are you ready to give up that much house for some sunshine?
