Why Nutter Endorsed Clinton

Nutter's first mistake as major was endorsing Barack Obama. When Obama wins and overlooks our city, God help us. We need the most help in fighting crime than any other city in the country. Common sense would have him to pick the winner!

I for one, can't understand how the Clinton's have gotten this far, given the fact that Bill Clinton is currently on trial in California for Fraud. Both of them were defendants, in the $17 Million trial that Hillary got let off of, not because she's innocent, but because she's a politician and it's election year. They are being sued for this very large amount, which tells me that the Clinton's will never ever change. Every time I look up, there's a scandal involving this "has been" couple, but want to stay in the limelight in order to have power. This is all about power, with the Clinton's and living a high profile life. If Hillary were really concerned about the voters, she would release her tax information and her "proof" that she did something other than be Clinton's wife as first lady. Bill instructed National Archives to keep these records sealed until the year 2012. In the meantime, Judicial Watch, an organization that investigates corruption, filed two lawsuits against the Clinton's - one this year and one last year, forcing the release of certain records. Also, last year, Judicial Watch named Hillary Clinton the No. 1 Corrupt Politican of 2007. The White House is a place of HONOR and many presidents have served there. When the Clinton's were in, they got rid of the FBI's Office of Liaison to make room for one of Hillary's friends, named Livingstone. This office served 7 Presidents, but Hillary dismantled it. When will the Clinton's tell the people about their Fraud Trial that's slated to start around October of this year, clashing with the November election? Why are there so many secrets surrounding Hillary Clinton? Is she qualified to run the Country, or do she want the power she had when Bill was running it. We can't afford to have this scandal-ridden couple back in the White House.

During Bill Clinton's administration our country had the lowest unemployment rate of modern times, our lowest inflation rate in 30 years, our highest ammount of home ownership in our history, and left the office AFTER the "scandal" with historically high approval ratings.
Honestly, are you really stubborn enough to hold onto this little grudge after all the Clinton's have done? After all Bill has done alone??

First off, we didn't marry him we elected his as our president and he proved to be a very good one -fact not opinion, look him up- so whatever happens in the Clinton's personal life is NO ONES BUSINESS.

Second, what do you mean Hillary should show us "proof that she did something other than be Clinton's wife?? Are you kidding me????
She spent at least 15 years as a lawyer -mostly in family courts- during that time she served as a staff attorney on the Children's Defense Fund, and in arkansas chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, and served on the boards of the Arkansas Children's Hospital, Legal Services, and the Children's Defense Fund.
While she was being "Clinton's wife as first lady" she chaired Task Force on National Health Care Reform, advocated health care, wrote a weekly newspaper column entitled "Talking It Over," which focused on her observations of women, children, and families she met around the world, and wrote the best-selling book "It Takes a Village and Other Lessons Children Teach Us was a best seller" recieving a Grammy Award for her audio recording of it.
During her two terms as a U.S. Senator there after, she worked with colleagues after 9/11 to secure the funds New York needed to recover and rebuild providing compensation to the families of victims, grants for hard-hit small businesses, and health care for front line workers at Ground Zero. She's the first U.S. senator to be on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and has visited troops both here and in Iraq and Afganistan --I could tell you MUCH more immpresive information about her terms as U.S. Senator, but the fact the she barely won her first election then won her 2nd one by a landslide proves something, don't you think?

You may not like the Clintons and that's fine, that's your opinion. But you CANNOT say they have not done anything because both of them have done so much good and activism both individualy and together (yes together, because should they really be blamed for actually working out the problems in their relationship instead of ending their marriage??)

I would say more, but it seems obvious that you haven't done your research and insist on your view of them being as narrow as a crack in a door; I'll talk more with you when you've decided to do your research and open that door a little wider.

It is under the heading of "Four-time convicted felon falsely accuses Clinton in video viewed by millions". The truth is that Obama is the one who is named as a defendant in a civil suit in Minnesota (see Sinclair v. Obama et al) and is a person of interest in the criminal trial of Tony Rezko.

I cannot understand how you can possibly say that Hillary has done nothing but be first lady. I could write a book - oh, yeah, people have!! I'll just give a really brief highlighing:

Hillary co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families and served on the board of Arkansas Children's Hospital and the Children's Defense Fund, as well as serving as their staff attorney. She advocated for children and families as a New York senator. She worked to secure funds to help NY recover after 9/11, including compensation for victims' families and grants to assist small business owners who would have lost their businesses in the aftermath. She recognized the hidden dangers facing the ground zero workers long before anyone else gave it a thought, and fought to provide them with health care for the problems many of them still face today.

In the White House, Hillary led efforts to make adoption easier, to expand early learning and child care, to increase funding for breast cancer research, and to help veterans suffering from Gulf War syndrome who had too often been ignored in the past. She helped launch a national campaign to prevent teen pregnancy and helped create the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997, which moved children from foster care to adoption more quickly.

And since you brought Bill into this let's talk about low unemployment, low inflation, high home ownership and high approval ratings. Not to mention a national budget surplus - when else have you EVER hear of that happening.

Please, stick to facts and issues. Don't throw mud and spread falsehoods.

You must forgive the mayor. He cannot see through the political decption practic by the Clintons.
