Born in San Francisco and raised in the SF Bay Area, been living in Philly for 2 years now, and loving it!
My sweet-tooth craves Taro milk tea with pearls - best found in the Chinatown area and a fruit smoothie from Kamal's Middle Eastern Specialties in the Reading Terminal Market on 12th Street. Gotta love the cheesesteaks from Dalesandro's and cheesefries from Geno's in South Philly.
I'm an SF Giants fan, naturally, but every once in a while I will sneak a peek at the Phillies at the Citizens Bank Park. Don't worry, I left my heart in San Francisco, and I will always be true to my heart!
Philly brings music to my ears at the Kimmel Center, quite classy; and an indie-feel at Tin Angel and The Fire. So far, my vote for best Philly artists are The Roots and George Simon Stanford.
My spare time is sometimes spent at the Free Library, the Franklin Institute, around the Museum of Art, or around the Kelly Park area, that is if I'm not busy putting together a lesson plan.
St. Joseph's University will soon be my home away from home, in due time. Preparation to becoming a certified educator. Yes, yes.
