My name is Dennis Marcucci. I've lived in south philly all my life.grew up listening to "the Boss Jocks" on WFIL. the WIBG "good guys" and the man with the goods, georgy woods on WDAS.I've been collecting 50's early 60's Doo wop, r&b vocal groups, acappella and rock n roll since the 70's.I have played my collection on WURD,WNJC and now on the internet at www.rockitradio.net the show is called "the Doo wop vault with Big 'D.I'm presently in the process of opening up a low power AM station that will serve south philly only.I'm here because I believe that the people need a vehicle to voice their opinion. my station will be that voice.plus, a station that will play the music that they[the late 40's to 60's age group]grew up on. which the corporate stations have eliminated.
