Blurb about yourself: Wendell August is a Pennsylvania company founded in 1923. We recently opened a working forge and showroom at the Main Street at Exton shopping center in historic Ashbridge Barn. Visitors and residents of Chester County and the surrounding area can come in to see our craftsmen produce some of the finest handcrafted metal giftware in the country with the same techniques that Wendell pioneered in the 1930s. There are free tours of the forge and a Make Your Own Metal station for the kids (adults love it, too)! Our hours are 10am-9pm Mon-Sat, and 11am-6pm on Sun. Large tour groups and buses are welcome. Please call 610-363-2426 for further information.
