I am a writer, photographer, philadelphian and a fan of fine food and drink. I love Philly like my own... mainly because it is. I was born and raised in the Germantown section of the city. By early early adolescence my family moved to the utopian borough at the banks of the Wissahickon, Mt. Airy.
After drifting casually through Philly's finest public schools - I got a post high school job at UPenn. Taking advantage of their staff benefits, I worked my way throughthe school, earning BA from Penn in American History and culture. I did quite well and it was FREE. I still feel like I got away with something when I look at my diploma.
I finished up with my snooty education just over a year ago. Now, I am searching for my place in this city. As a note to all you employers out there, this self made Ivy-educated bastard is seriously considering shucking off my hometown in search of better opportunity. So consider this a threat and an offer. If anyone out there wants me, make me an offer.
